Sarah Davy was just 14 when she and her 15-year-old friend Lisa Healy brutally tortured and murdered 71-year-old Lily Lily.

They tortured her by squirting shampoo in her eyes, cutting her legs with a knife and tying a gag around her mouth so tightly that her false denture teeth were forced down her throat and killed her.

The next day, they forced her into a wheelie bin, wheeled it roughly a mile through the streets of Failsworth before throwing it in the Rochdale Canal waters.
They then returned to Lily's home and trashed it.
They made hundreds of calls from her landline This later provided detectives with an extensive, immediate digital footprint connecting them directly to the scene of the crime.
They also stole and used Lily's pension money to buy crisps and chocolate at the local corner shop.
Local witnesses and shopkeepers were able to identify the girls, who had also been seen befriending Lily in the area prior to her disappearance.
Lily Lily's body was discovered in the Rochdale Canal three days after Sarah Davy and Lisa Healy dumped the wheelie bin into the water.
The evidence against the killers was strong and they were identified and arrested.
In July 1999, Sarah Davy and Lisa Healy were handed life sentences with minimum terms of eight years.
Lisa Healy was released on license after completing her minimum term.
While out on a day release program from prison in 2009, she became pregnant and was temporarily moved to a prison mother and baby unit.
She later got a new identity and relocated.
Sarah Davy was and she served 14 years in prison before she was first released in 2013.
She has since been in and out of prison and she even gave birth while locked up.
