Right, so, we're in Pontypool today - 30 May 2026 - (712 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

Right, so, we're in Pontypool today.
I'm not in Holloway prison, or whatever they say.
Bloody road moor.
All them pound today, £20 per pound.
Bags of blankets, £5.
I think they're 50p, £3 per pound in there.
£10, the shelves.
We've marketed all down.
We've marketed all down.
Doll's house, Fiverr.
I've got jigsaws.
£3 a bag, you can take a lot for a fiverr.
Nice little table here for upcycling, £3.
£5, £3.
It has got the legs.
They keep going on about the legs on this thing.
And the legs are in the drawer.
You've just got to put them back on, that's all.
£2, £1.
I think we've got £15 on the pusher.
£10 on this to go today.
£1.
They're free.
I've got some pictures that are pound each.
We are clearing stuff out today.
We've made quite a bit of room, actually, in there.
I don't know whether to... because I hope there's no using against us.
I'll show you now.
We've, obviously, there's a load going from there.
But it's all this mangled baby stuff again.
Pain in the backside.
But we might take that to our storage place where we keep the baby stuff.
We're thinking.
And then all of that has gone from there.
So, potentially, by the end of today, you'll be able to walk in there.
And we've cleared quite a bit up there.
And, as you can see, we've started clearing any storage we had in the back room.
Because, remember, we shut it off for storage.
So we can't have anybody in because we've got to get the fire back out.
But one of our volunteers we haven't seen for a while popped her head round the door yesterday.
And we had a chat with her.
I know she's doing and everything, family and everything.
And she had a look.
And she was like, Oh, God, yes, there's loads gone.
So that's good because even she thinks there's stuff gone now.
So that's brilliant, isn't it?
I've got tons of Moses baskets here.
I can do one for a pound.
If you need one, let me know.
You can have one.
I've got lots of cars.
I can't quite get them yet.
If you see something on the videos, just ask for it, guys.
Because although you can't come in.
But what we might do is see how we go now this weekend.
And if we can blitz it this weekend.
Now, we might get the fire back out next week to come and have a look.
But we still got a mangled mess of baby stuff here, which is a pain.
But perhaps we'll just check out the front market all down today.
I've got a couple of bouncers.
I've got an eye chair, but I don't know if the legs extend.
I've got only one Moses basket stand they can see so far.
But as I said, we'll be shifting some stuff today.
So we might unearth some bits and bobs.
Because obviously we've got our racking up now.
In donation center one.
And we've got the baby bank storage unit as well.
Which the public don't have access to.
So that's where we are today.
So don't forget to knock the door.
Obviously the toys are not for resell.
If you're the reseller, obviously.
I've got to get a brush this morning.
Because of the scaffolding as well.
It's all piled up by you.
But we've got some nice stuff in there today.
Lovely jigsaws and bits.
But we just got too much.
We just haven't got the time to place it and display it.
And then we've got to store it until the others are gone.
And I filled the records back up as well.
So they're £20 for a pound, guys.
And he hasn't got a sign on there.
But they're £50, £3 for a pound.
So get that.
You're going to need a £50, £3 for a pound on that one.
Like we've got over there.
And do the bags of blankets a favour.
Because we've got millions of blankets.
And we don't want to be storing them until next year.
So yes guys, if you've seen something.
Or if you're one of our regulars, give us a shout.
Because we're still giving you a date.
Even though that was pricey.
