So, hi guys - 23 May 2026 - (1,262 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

So, hi guys.
We haven't done a video for a while because of the haters and we've been having a bit of a break.
A break off social media and a break in real life.
And we've had some work that we've had to do, some compulsory work that we've had to do to meet certain standards.
So, we haven't really done videos or anything because we've tried to get our job done.
So, we've got about a thousand bags of donations that's got to be sorted.
Quite a bit as you can see.
So, the fire's been over.
They're happier with the donation centre now.
But we were at a stalemate anyway because we couldn't get anything else in you without coming in and building the racking and getting the work done.
So, we were at a stalemate anyway.
And having a break has been good.
And being off social media has been good.
Because we can actually see who is participating in the malicious group now.
You know, people who we thought were good customers, good friends.
And we can see them all participating.
So, yes.
We've been busy.
I don't know when we're going to get around to doing these particular donations.
We've got some more that's got to go on the racking.
That's what Dan's doing now.
He's just cleared some of the racking, moved it up.
But now we've got to put the cellophane on.
So, obviously, the shrink wrap, obviously, to stop anything loose falling off.
So, this is where we keep our donations.
It's the donation centre.
Like I said, this is too small for us.
But we've had to just take what we can get at the moment.
We've had this one a long time.
This will be our third year, I think, here.
I think we're on our third year.
I can't remember now.
And the landlord's been really good here and worked with us.
So, that's great.
So, thank you to them.
But if we take on another Wero's, which I can't get at a decent price.
We're still waiting for everything to crash and all the prices to come down.
We're going to need racking as well.
Because we can't just fill it and then after bringing the racking afterwards because it makes the job 50 times more difficult to build the racking and get it sorted.
So, we need to factor that into the cost, you see.
And we can't just go racking, racking and buy it quickly like that.
We can, but don't forget we needed this one brought over here on a Hayab fan.
We couldn't just bring it over here, could we?
So, we need to factor in the delivery and we need to get the racking in there.
We had a bargain with this racking.
I think it was £1,000.
Was it £1,000 or £1,500?
I can't remember.
No, I think it was only £1,000.
Was it about £500 to get delivered?
Which was a lot, but it's a Hayab and that's why we needed it.
But because the donation centre was full, they couldn't Hayab it off into the donation centre.
So, Dan had to carry it into the donation centre.
So, ideally, donation centre 2 needs to be an empty warehouse.
Buy the racking, get the racking in, get the Hayab to deliver it inside so we can just shut the door and go home that day.
Because you can't leave it outside because it's going to get nicked.
And then build it and then open it as a donation centre.
Because we know how quickly the donations roll in, don't we guys?
Probably in the evenings, I think.
Late, late, late evenings.
When I'm on my third shift of the day.
Much better since I've had the transfusions and the infusion.
A million times better.
I've got to have repeat bloods now to check my HB and everything else.
In a month, I think, they said, and see how we go in.
But I am scheduled, I think, for a second iron infusion as well.
Ah...
I've had my knees injected as well, so I'm like the bionic woman now.
No stopping me now.
So yeah, I might come over like on the third stint of the day.
Because you know me, I only sleep for like two hours a day.
And just sit there and sort the bags and stuff.
Most of this over here is boutique and designer clothes.
There is a few mixed.
And then the rest is like what we would say is more bric-a-brac.
And the pound clause is over here.
But it is mixed up, you know.
Because we've just bashed it on the rack in to get the fire back over here.
So the fire have said that we can come in and continue working the stock safely.
Because obviously it wasn't safe.
So they've come over and they've given us some more pointers and more of you.
And obviously they work with us.
Because they know we are getting haters on the phone 24-7.
But like they said, they are going to work with us.
So let's move that up.
But we have got a cellophane in the top.
I've got the shrink wrap for the top.
So I might do that.
But it is really high up there.
And I was feeling really dizzy.
Because my HB and everything else was down.
And low.
Very low again.
I didn't let it drop too low this time.
So they kept pulling me off and pulling me off.
And then I was like, no, you are going to have to do something.
I don't know if it is going to move yet.
It is easier to move it from one to one to one.
You see.
That is what we have been doing.
So it takes a bit longer.
But it is not as strenuous to move it.
So I think we will definitely be here today and tomorrow.
And I don't know where we are going to be next week.
We will have to see what we have done.
Because we need to try and get Pontypool back open.
And this needs to be ready to receive donations.
Not so much work the donations.
Because I can do that in my own time.
Myself.
But my mother was quite shocked yesterday.
Because she had about 25 bags.
Somebody dropped off and we diverted them up there.
And she said, go, you have done that quick.
I said, yeah.
Because I know what I am doing.
I know where they want it to go.
And what prices we want on it.
And what I want done with it.
Whether I want it fixed.
Whether I want something added to it.
Or something taken out.
I could probably do a Bay of Nights.
You know.
Easier Bay of Nights.
Maybe even three if I pulled my finger out.
I think we needed the break.
And I don't think we would have taken the break.
I think it's good that they fire came in and gave us the break.
And made us take the break.
I am doing a video in a minute.
Made us take the break.
Because I don't think we would have done it.
And we would have still been trying to catch our tail.
So at least we have got some stuff done.
Which is more beneficial for us.
And the way we are working.
Right, I am off now because Dan is back.
And he might need me for moral support.
