Oh, hiya guys - 18 Apr 2026 - (435 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
Oh, hiya guys.
I haven't been very well, so I had last week off.
I was very ill.
I thought it was to do with food allergies again.
But then Dan was ill, so it was a bit...
So I don't know what... what triggered it.
I thought it was milk, but I'm gonna put it off the milk anyway.
Because I was rough.
But there's a food festival.
We did well this morning with a baby shower.
And we kept it very low-key.
Oh, sweet.
We kept it really low-key because...
Oh, they smell lush.
Oh, they smell beautiful.
And we kept it low-key because obviously after the last one being cancelled...
It's a food festival today here in Caerphilly.
We took £30.50 with some bits that we sold.
We were selling things like noses, baskets, a pound.
You know, pounds as a pound.
You can guess how many there are.
And obviously it was a baby shower.
We got rid of two... what's it to be?
We got rid of two parcours of baby and children's clothes.
That was great.
I didn't think it was gonna be this big today, the food festival.
But they've issued loads of parking tickets down there, guys.
I should have brought money.
I didn't think I'd bring any money.
The bison.
Chutneys and jams.
Nice.
Fudge.
Ice cream.
Nice, nice, nice.
There's loads of people here, isn't there?
Fair play.
Loads of people.
Yeah, so I've been off for a week.
So yes, Dan's been there.
We've been doing the designated shopping slots.
The fire being back on four to make sure there's stuff being shifted.
We have shifted quite a bit of stuff.
Obviously they're concerned about the leaking and everything that's going on and the damage that's already in the roof from the leak.
I'm wondering what we've got.
Something nice, I want to.
Some sort of pot.
It looks like it's all like jams and stuff.
I was looking for some sort of rice dish or something.
I'm not good at this.
I'm not good at this.
It's too packed.
It's too packed.
So yes, we're here today now.
It's a lovely day.
But yeah, just in case you wondered where we were last week, I was ill.
Very ill.
Bad stomach.
Bad stomach.
And Daniel was sick a couple of times.
Or whether it was a bug, I don't know.
We've got another £60 job lock on a pile of £1 clothes.
So they were done.
So yes, we've had a productive week again.
Well, I haven't, but Dan has faithfully.
So we've kept everything together.
