Oh, sorry I was late guys this morning - 7 Apr 2026 - (1,053 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

Oh, sorry I was late guys this morning.
Princess's fault.
I am very dizzy this morning.
I don't know what's the matter with me.
But bear with me this morning because I'm having a move around.
I wanted to get some of the bigger furniture out there in other weathers better.
So I am having a move around.
Now I've had Dan have given me a hand.
He's got that shelf in there which I don't know if you can see is a lot better.
I can't see it because he hasn't pushed that lot back, the fancy dress.
But that's a lot better there because that was quite piled up.
We couldn't get anywhere near there.
And then he put that one in there for me and then he had to saw the bottom of this.
It came from Big Risca.
I don't know if you can see.
No, I'm a bit more light on the situation here.
He had to saw like the bottom off because it had collapsed.
See look where the rain is going.
It's still okay.
But it was really wonky.
But it's a lot better now.
So that's in nice and tight.
They could do with a dust today but I'm moving around so I might wait.
So that's nice because it's all plenty of room there.
I think we're going to have too many toys.
They'll pull out because you still wouldn't be able to get in there really.
Have a look.
I'd rather so you could walk in there and I don't think you can.
And then the rest I'm quite a little bit disheveled with because I've been moving stuff around because I wanted to get like the chairs and stuff off there because otherwise it ain't going to move.
So I've done that.
I got a brush just a bit but you could give it in.
I could probably take these down I'm thinking now.
Couldn't wait.
It's lovely out there but I could probably take them down.
And then obviously I've made a bit of a mess.
I've got my china dolls down.
Oh, have I got the stickers in the car?
Yeah, I could have them in the car actually.
Because we've got to put stickers on these now.
We've kept them separate anyway.
The china dolls.
These are our Halloween ones.
They sell like crazy.
I've got a few of these now.
I'm happy for this lot to go for tenner today if you want a lot of them.
I think I got one, two, three, four.
Oh, I've got quite a few.
Maybe two lots, ten.
I don't know.
I need them gone.
I've got to put stickers on them because they're no longer toys.
Yeah, even little ones because it's not a toy.
Or it might be on the box actually.
If it's on the box I won't need to but if it's got no package it'll be well.
And what else was it?
There was something else, wasn't there?
It's the knitted toys.
They can't just have vintage handmade on them now.
They've got to have the stickers.
I think I bought them off Timo in the end.
They're alright.
I checked them with the ones on Amazon.
They were like half the price on Timo for like five hundred.
It was like three pound odds.
I thought it's not even worth me printing my own for that amount, is it?
They've got to go on them because they're not toys.
And they've got to have fire label warnings on as well.
That's a pain, isn't it?
Such a pain.
Any toy that's vintage, you've got to have these stickers on which is fine.
And they've got to be separated from your toy area.
So I couldn't have... because that's what happened with the China dolls you see.
Because Elf and Safety told me now that somebody in Blackwood, another charity shop, a child got injured in the toy area by a China doll.
Because it broke, obviously.
I mean, common sense would be not to put them in the children's area, wouldn't it?
Surely.
Anyway, it does happen.
Actually, it could happen because we had somebody who was neurodiverse.
And every single day I would come in and there was like these two games.
And I can't remember what they were.
They were like adult board games, you know, like you get from Anne Summers, that type of thing.
You know, every single shift I'd come in and he'd put them back by the games.
And I'd be like, they're no games.
They've got to go top shelf, adults.
But of course, in his head, he could only put them by the games.
He couldn't, you know, he couldn't comprehend that.
So I think in the end, I think we took them to a car boot and got rid of them there.
They really wanted a quid for them, but they were just, I didn't want them in the kids area, you know.
And then we've sold a bit there.
So that's a bit disheveled.
So it needs to be reworked.
I found some boxes that need to go clean.
I've got some nice clothes.
I've got some nice clothes in the car.
Nice jumpers if somebody wants to.
If you want to work for us and put stuff on vintage, send me a message.
Don't write it on the Facebook because the stalkers are out in force.
I could put them up there.
I've got plenty of them.
People like the CDs, so they like to look at them when they come in.
Yeah, everything could do with a bit of a tidy and a dust in here, but I am moving it around.
So I might get my stickers out of the car now and do that.
And have my... sit there now and have my...
Because I do feel a bit dizzy and a bit shaky today.
I don't know what's the matter with me.
I'll put my stickers on my China dolls.
So I'll get them now and then I can put them back up there out the way then, can't I?
So I'll do that I think.
Right, see you in a bit guys.
Oh no, what have I done now?
