Alright guys, I'm off to get my tufts done - 2 Apr 2026 - (920 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

Alright guys, I'm off to get my tufts done.
I don't know what happens.
Thank you for being with us.
I'm supposed to be having two fillings today, but if she's got to pull this stuff out, I can't see her doing the fillings, I think, because of the risk of infection.
And they might be infected anyway.
It's so ratty, you know.
Just come out on one of those gluten-free rice cakes.
Oh, nothing safe.
Yeah, so bear with us, because I'm sorry we're letting you down, saying we'll open and then we're not.
But it's just been horrendous that this left-hand side of my gum has been horrendous.
I've had to have my Metformin.
I'm much better since the Metformin have been apt.
I'm not craving sugar so much, or any sweet stuff, which is good.
But I am being right at all.
I'm being well at all, guys, but I do feel better in myself.
So I really didn't need this toss to give up, because I wasn't suffering too much requiring the fillings.
But I didn't even need this toss to play up.
But it's all on this left-hand side, and it's...
I don't know what it is.
There's something going on there in the gum or something, and there's somebody's upset and they go off the cart there.
And I end up with only one toss left at this rate.
So yeah, bear with us.
We'll probably be in Cuffiddy tomorrow when people will be shut, because I've got a pick-up to do when they're gone.
And then I wanted some stuff gone from Cuffiddy Shopping, the donation centre, and I got the muscles, I got Dan with me to do it.
So we'll be open in the morning, say 10, maybe till about lunchtime, maybe a bit longer.
Yeah, we'll go from there.
There's a lot of shops coming up, well, shops coming up everywhere, because everybody is packing it in with the look of it.
It's sad to see all these businesses go in.
Really consider if you can become a CIC and try and get a bit of support, you know.
Our grants are only just starting to trickle in.
So thank you for everybody who's bearing with us for stuff like that, because we've, you know, we need paid roles and things like that now.
Somebody's shown interest in the grants manager job.
So bear with us, we're still getting them in.
I still haven't heard anything about funding for the apprenticeships.
It's all going to come in at once, I think, and then we're going to be like, you know, deer in the headlights, because we've got to try and organise everything then around the grants, you know, on the grant funding, and it's got to be done right.
If you get a grant for a minibus, you can't buy a pork cabin with it, you know.
If you get a grant for fire, to improve your fire, you know, plans and equipment, you can't go and spend it on the food bank.
It's got to be spent on holidays and it's got to be recorded.
Otherwise it could damage our chance of getting a grant further down the line for them.
I was off then, I'm going to the wrong place, sure.
I've got to remember where I'm going, I was going to go to the affiliate.
So yes, be with us with that.
They are starting to trickle in.
There's lots of little shops coming up, very cheap, up the valleys, quite far out, poor places like that, but I'd need somebody to run them, somebody competent.
It's no point applying if you can't be doing three or four days a week, minimum, to run it, or anybody who's like half-hearted with it, you know, because you'll be running it and just in communication with me.
I can't just drop what I'm doing and come in every day, sort of thing.
But we're still holding fast because the prices are going to drop on these rented places because nobody's going to be in them before long, are they?
You know, there's loads of people giving up, it's really sad.
And I mean, there's nothing they can do.
Nothing they can do about it is the economy.
The economy is about to just be annihilated, you know.
It's just going to absolutely become brain and heart, I think.
It really is.
It's going to be difficult to know what's going to be left standing.
I don't know what we're going to do with all the stuff we've got.
What are we going to put in?
We're still going to be here after the economy crashes, because what are we going to do with all this stuff?
God knows.
God knows.
But, yeah, so thank you guys for being with us.
Thank you for the customers that keep coming in and choosing to shop with us and supporting us and, you know, promoting us and everything.
We do appreciate it.
I think the people on the other group, I think they're decent.
I'm mad, to be honest.
You know, this is why I signed up to be a CAC, because I foresaw this coming.
You know, this tsunami, this economic tsunami is just going to... is just...
on our doorstep right now.
So, it won't be long, guys.
We'll have bigger things to worry about, I think.
But here we are.
Let you know when I get on with my test.
