Oh, I'm a bit of a state again this morning, guys - 9 Mar 2026 - (1,061 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
Oh, I'm a bit of a state again this morning, guys.
My throat is tight this morning, like I've been, I feel like I've been snoring all night, which I probably have, but I think it's due to this reaction.
So I'm in late this morning because I've had to go to the GP, because the only tablets that I've got are old prescription ones, the chlorpridamine, and ones that I bought years ago.
We're thinking, they're thinking of giving me an EpiPen, because this is, they said it's quite a severe reaction.
Although I'm on the mend, my throat is sore, my kidneys feel sore today, and I haven't been drinking as much.
I just feel rough, I just feel like I've been dragged through an edge backwards a bit, like, but I was shivering for two days, I've been shivering cold after, well, the sun came out, didn't it?
And we were all like, oh, yay, summer.
It's gone again now.
My eyes were hurting, and I was like, oh, it's because of the sun, because we haven't seen it for months.
So I put my tinted lenses in, you know, and then I was like, oh, I can't remember what I said, I'll be right, I'll be right for a couple of days.
Good week, I haven't been right.
I just put it down to whatever, and the doctor was like, well, what have you eaten?
Well, it could have been anything, because I've been finishing off all the stuff in my kitchen.
I've been like, well, whilst there's chip seasoning, I'll chuck that in with the lasagne, I'll just get rid of that and eat a bit of the bomb.
So it could be anything that I've eaten.
I have an allergy nasal spray every day, you know, and I don't know what it is, because whatever it is, it's sparked off some sort of allergy, anyway.
Do you do blood tests to see what I'm allergic to now?
Because they said, yeah, my face is still swollen, and they don't think it's from the teeth.
Of course, I just put it down to being the teeth.
Because we had two other ones, had loads of injections, didn't I?
And I had trouble before, it was infected, and I had to be on antibiotics.
Well, I've had antibiotics before, and, you know, those ones, I think it was just paracetamol, so that haven't affected me.
I don't know.
I give up.
I give up.
The only thing I take in is paracetamol.
I've taken a lot, which I don't usually, because my teeth were so bad.
I feel like I'm going to be hit by a bus.
That's the trouble, see, that Auntie has to be.
They're so small, but they just take it out of you, don't they?
So I go today now.
Dan's going to be shut at three today.
He is moving stuff from the pound shop today, so I don't know if the pound shop will be accessible at all.
Because that's the room we've got to clear.
That's got the worst leak and the worst damp at the moment.
And he's done that one more.
So there's no cheap children's clothes in Pontypool because we sold them off as a job lot.
And there's not going to be any filler bags because we've got to empty it.
It was always on the cards to empty that room up there and sort it.
But obviously, you know, I think it was when those criminals...
Remember when they raided, I think it was the George pub, and they had a grow-up in the George pub.
And they were running across the roofs.
Can you remember, Jude and Steve put a video up to say that they couldn't open the shop because the police were out there.
And there were people on the roof and they were throwing slates, like Bromwell, at the police.
And I think they've dislodged where they've run across the roofs and damaged them.
They've made even more leaks because it was never that bad.
Never ever that bad until they were up there.
Daniel said he hasn't found any wet clothes as of yet.
Because I've told him anything slightly damp, don't even put it in a bag.
But he said he hasn't found anything wet yet, but I know Sammy had to put like a bucket up there on the stairs the one day.
So maybe it won't come down on the stairs, I don't know, hopefully.
Because Sammy said the bucket is really full when we had torrential rain over Christmas.
Obviously the landlord knows, we've sent them all of it, the oars and everything.
But we knew that this was going to happen and this needed to be done at some point.
So, you know, it's all on the 10 year plan, guys.
The 10 year plan.
So I'm on my way into Caerphilly.
I've got a lot of interest in the bike now, guys.
I think it's where the weather has improved, I won't say better, look at it.
Oh, what a rubbish couple of days.
We were there one day as sun and it was beautiful, weren't it, guys?
And now, look at it.
It's all full of game.
I can't do nothing, can I?
See, I like being outside.
I like being out in the garden.
You know, in winter, I hibernate.
And I save up all my Netflix and all my series and everything.
And I just watch them back to back and I don't need the houses.
I make a little nest in the bed or the chair.
And I have a little breathing hole so I can breathe.
And then I sometimes have my screen under the sheets.
But in summer, then I'm out.
I'm out into the shops and it's warmer in the shops.
So I'll be in the shops until like 8 o'clock.
But this year, we've really, really stayed at home throughout the winter.
Had a good break.
And then I'll go home and then I'll be in the garden until 10 o'clock at night, you know?
So I'm looking forward to the clocks going forward.
I'm looking forward to the sun when it comes back.
Look at it.
It's so miserable today.
So miserable.
Right, well, I'll see you there, guys.
