Right, so there we are then guys - 6 Feb 2026 - (1,125 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

Right, so there we are then guys.
They're already whinging about it on their other page.
But we are probably the only CIC that isn't doing a food pantry and charging five pound a bag for it.
So that's what we're going to do in future.
There will be no exceptions to that now.
It's going to be the same all over.
If you just want to come in and buy a five pound bag, you can come in and buy a five pound bag.
You don't need to be a customer or a donator.
But by being a customer... everyone in my clubbing box is lovely.
But by being a customer or a donator, you help us buying more food to give out.
So we can increase the items or increase the amount of bags that go out.
After speaking to the council today, they said it's because you're the only one that does it slightly different.
So we said okay then, well let's do it pantry style.
Can we have the authorisation to do it pantry style?
And I messed my windows up.
And they said yeah yeah you can do it pantry style.
You don't need to pass us for it.
They said because you've already got your food hygiene in place.
The only time we need to come back out is if you start picking up the fresh.
Which we will be doing soon.
So it's coming at the right time for us.
Because we were going to open a pantry anyway.
And I think maybe it was going to get a little bit confusing with you can buy a pantry.
Or you can have this or five item top up.
Or you can have that for free.
Or this for free.
Or you can have that if you do this that and the rest of it.
So that's what the haters are complaining about all the time.
About us saying that you need to be a customer or donators to access our services.
So now you don't.
And now it's five pound a bag which is standard with every other pantry.
Across South Wales and England.
I mean some are even more.
Some are like seven pound a bag.
So we're keeping a five pound a bag.
If you're a grandmother now you can come in and pick up nappies.
Because I It'll only be like one bag.
So we'll limit it to one bag per person at the moment.
Or one household.
And see how we get on with that.
It will be increasing from that anyway.
We were going to open a pantry anyway.
We're just waiting on this recession to do what it's doing in the next couple of months.
And then go from there.
Because we were going to need another area or another shop or another thing to do a pantry.
And we can't do anything because we're waiting on funding to come in.
So it was in the pipeline to open a pantry.
As well as giving away the five item free top up and all the rest of it.
So yeah here we are then.
What are you going to complain about next?
My mountains.
This one's nice but it's a bit it's not as nice as the other one.
But there's some nice pictures in this one.
So yeah thank you for letting me have the day off.
Well we slept late we did.
We slept late.
We were running late.
I had to go to the pharmacy anyway.
Because I had a problem.
So I had to go and put that out.
And I'd had a missed phone call off the council.
So I thought I'd ring them now.
Because I expect they've had loads of complaints in.
Which they had loads of complaints in.
Of all the haters.
And then they said no we can see who it is now.
We've got we've accessed the groups ourselves.
So we can see whose names they are.
You know for example Shirley's on there at the moment.
And Michelle is saying, oh I used to collect food with my husband blah blah blah until I found that she wasn't allowed to.
Yes we were allowed to.
We've been registered for six years.
So we were allowed to collect food.
So that's such a nonsense.
And she was sacked because she turned up in Abitallary.
Test was drunk.
And the staff were not happy with it.
So we sacked them.
And it was more on one occasion she turned up drunk.
So and I explained that to the council today.
And they said yeah yeah we know we know what they're doing.
They're just trying to make people stop people from coming to see you.
And use your services.
We know what they're doing.
We can see it now.
And we won't be taking any more complaints off anybody that's been named on our page.
And that's why they're going to anonymous now look.
But yeah.
So there we are then guys.
We're now going to go to Pantry Model.
I think this one's running out.
Let me see that one.
See I've used it quite a lot this one.
I'll have to try and blend it now.
I might be able to do it if I take it slow.
It might still go.
But yeah.
So we're going to Pantry Model now from 9 a.m.
tomorrow.
And we'll put temporary notices and get proper notices and proper posters printed out then.
And you've got four options available of all you want in your bag.
Okay.
But it's literally going to be one per household.
And you don't need to be a customer or a donator.
But obviously if we've banned you before.
Or we've said to you.
No you can't come in the shops.
You still can't come in the shops.
Because you've been a problem before.
But you know if somebody walks in tomorrow and says I've never been here before.
What have I got to do?
It's five pound for a bag.
If you want to go and buy stuff and fundraise you can.
All right.
So we'll crack on with that tomorrow now.
Because that's the only thing.
That's one of the only things they can use against us now.
It's going to be the amount of stock we've got in the shops.
And we can't do nothing about that.
And we can't help being popular.
Can we guys?
Daniel had blooming 90 bags and today he's having a breakdown.
Daniel's having a breakdown.
But there we are.
That's the way it goes innit guys.
So
if you've got a problem with it.
Take it over onto the heaters page.
