Oh, well, there we are, guys - 23 Jan 2026 - (408 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

Oh, well, there we are, guys.
That was a turnip for the books, wasn't it?
Um, explains why all the crazies have come out of the woodwork.
Uh, totally not on my radar, at all.
Totally not on my radar.
Like I said, there was a need for it.
Um, people were still tagging, saying this is the bird rescue, still running.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Um, my grandfather had loads of birds, um, as I was growing up, so we know quite a bit about birds anyway.
So, bizarre.
Anyway, it's not bizarre, because when it all starts to add up and you see the amount of fraud involved, makes perfect sense, doesn't it?
Um, so yes, there we are.
Explains, uh, all your boos and all the crazies coming out of the woodwork.
Unbelievable, isn't it, guys?
Absolutely unbelievable.
So many people out there corrupt.
And they are, you know, all those animals died and for more like, you know.
But anyway, they'll all come out in the wash.
They usually do, don't they?
Fair play.
Fair play.
I'm running late.
Um, contrary to popular belief, I don't open 7 till 11, because I'm not a money laundering shop.
So I don't need to open my shop between 7 and 11 all day.
I could open it just a couple of hours a day, to be honest.
I think, uh, that would be beneficial.
I've thought that before.
The only reason we open all day, some days, is because we're busy and we're doing stuff, so we might as well stay open.
But, uh, I ask, though.
Perhaps we should only open like two days a week and say, well, if you want anything, you've got to come in those days.
And, um, I'm sure people would.
But, uh, and then we can get on with stuff elsewhere, you know, online or in the donation centre.
But then, when we get mothers in, mothers don't mind coming in like 10 till 4 and stuff like that, you know, or 10 till 3 or whatever, until the kids come home.
Some of the kids walk back to the... used to walk back to the shops, like when Irene and Billy were running it.
Their kids used to walk back to the shops, so, you know, because they were old enough.
Uh, but, uh, yeah, want to turn up for the box?
There we are.
Good job, it's in good hands now, isn't it?
