Now they are embarrassed and looking stupid because the narrative they tried to paint about you only works if you were not around.
But because you keep showing up, your reputation precedes you.

They thought by removing their praise and validation by them being condescending and even micromanaging you and trying to minimize all the work they know you have done that you would in turn give up on yourself and go back to where you started because you felt like you and the work you've done so far weren't good enough.
When the truth is, they already knew you were a threat before you got started.
They just never expected for you to get this far.
They didn't expect for you to not only avoid the traps that they set for you, but for them to fall into those very traps themselves.
