One of your first bits of training when you do nursing is you go into the skills lab.
It's like this is the base coat.
I bought these off, I don't know, TikTok shop I expect, but everything off TikTok shop.
I want to see what this galaxy one looks like.
It's a rose gold, but oh I think I've got to put that under there now.
These are the UV ones, you know.
I don't know if you can see that.
Where are we?
One of the first things you do in nursing is they take you into the skills lab, which is like a ward set up or like a little hospital wing all set up exactly as it would be.
Anywhere else.
And they make you put special UV, they make you wash your hands and then put UV paint on your hands to show you where the dirt is.
I did really well because I researched the night before so I was really scrubbing up, like I was scrubbing up for an operation.
But I missed all of that bit there.
See that bit?
If you've got long nails you can really see it.
So I don't really bother with long nails anymore.
I can't stand any dirt under my nails at all.
I've got a massive issue with dirt.
And so my nails are short and I haven't got time to fight them and we're up to our necks.
I've got calluses on my hands from donations.
But I'm going to have a go at doing this because I haven't done this for a long time, about five years.
So fingers crossed guys, fingers crossed.

We haven't left yet because they changed the flight time.
Well I wonder if this one will be... and I don't like it too thick.
I had one that changed colour so the longer your nails were the cooler they were from your body obviously.
And they change colour but I don't know where that one is.
Like I said I've been too ill to even brush my hair.
So I've painted my toenails just for normal paint.
But I am really been up to it guys.

It's got to be five years I think.

I don't want it done too thick.
I don't know if I'm going to be doing two coats.
You put it under the UV light then.
It's a sort of cure.
I can't really see it now because that's so bright.
I could do this see for fundraising couldn't we?
But I wouldn't be able to file them because the other thing is that filing goes through me.
I don't know.
I might need to put a second coat on.
I don't know.
I don't want them too thick see because I want them to go hard.
This will be leaving now in about half hour I expect.
I'm going to put my socks on and my sandals.
Get my feet warm.
Oh yeah I think it looks better with a second coat.
But I don't want it too thick because it just peels off.
I find wherever it's down to my nails.
You know the vitamins and stuff in my nails.
I'm doing it on camera my guys.
Should be doing it on camera for you.
But yeah we will probably be online and working because you know we get paid.
We get paid by Facebook so we'd be fools not to wouldn't we?
Especially this time of year when people are sat in the house with nothing to do.
So we'd be fools not to and raise money for our cause.

We've all our little rescues.
