Jayne's Baby Bank has left the building and those - 20 Dec 2025 - (432 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
Jayne's Baby Bank has left the building and those blooming clip strips have been on my dashboard for nearly six months.
I keep forgetting what shop they've got to go into.
Right, so the shops are shut.
Please do not leave any donations outside the shops, okay?
That's what attracts bin dippers.
Bin dippers are usually thieves.
That's why they're hanging the bins and they'll start hanging around the shops and being weird around my shops and I don't want it, okay?
I don't want to have thousands of notifications on my CCTV monitors while I'm on holiday, having weirdos and bin dippers around my shop stupid o'clock in the morning.
Please don't leave it with other shops.
I don't want to come back and have to dig out the barber shop because they're full of donations or the new old woollies or fresh and go.
Right, don't leave the donations with them.
Keep them at home now until we return.
When we return in January it's going to be 50% discount.
The only offers that we'll have on is our pound shop offers which is a filler bag for fiver every day of the week and £3 for a pound on baby clothes.
We did say we were going to spend £20, get £5 worth of stock for free, didn't we, as a forever offer?
Because that pushes up the average transaction rate, see, by doing that, the ATV.
Yeah, we could keep that one on.
I was going to get posters printed, wasn't I, with it on, because it was going to be a forever offer.
So I'll guarantee the 50% discount until the end of January and we're going to have a regroup and I'll guarantee the £3 for a pound on children's 50p clothes till 2027.
How does that sound for you?
Oh, and the filler bag for a fiver, that's on till 2027.
But it's very confusing for the staff when we have all these different offers.
I do the offers to try and keep it fresh for everybody, you know, and get people in, especially when it's raining and we've done things like wonker tickets and silly things like that, just to get people in.
But it's not fair on the staff that they get 75% discount and they're doing all the work and then other people are not, okay?
And we've had issues with trade customers this year, haven't we?
Pokemons and jewellery and jewellery now, they've fought now.
I should have, do you know what, I never even thought about going up there and taking my stock back.
That's how upset I was.
