There's some sort of fete or something going on - 13 Dec 2025 - (1,854 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

There's some sort of fete or something going on down the bottom, guys.
Some sort of fete, Christmas fete.
So can I just remind people that we have CCTV, very good CCTV, in our shops, with audio recorded and outside.
Plus our neighbours do, and very often we're on high streets that also have high street...
I've got... I'm missing some bits from there, but I know I've got the bits.
...from Pontypool Shop, on the desk, so we'll be able to make that one up.
A lot of the high streets also have their CCTV.
This week, in particular, Pontypool Shop and Caerphilly Shop has had individuals come into the shop that are problematic and have been stopped coming in the shop.
One of which stopped themselves from coming in the shop.
And when I've said to them, you said you weren't coming in here again, and you were rude to staff, and you've been rude to me, and we don't need your custom, off you go, they've kicked off.
That's fine, you can kick off, but you're on CCTV, right?
Once we tell you not to come in our shops, that's all our shops, if we've got a car boot sale, if we're at a fete, if we've got our sheds open, and if somebody's fundraising, a mother you've never even met fundraising on our BR from their living room,
which some people do, then you are not to come into our shops.
There is a banning notice in place, and it will be enforced by police.
So anyway, this week we've had two people who have been nuisances, this was a little group of them, come into the shops.
Because clearly you realise now, actually, you've effed it up for yourself, because now you can't get our staff at our prices anywhere else.
We had a woman that we banned because her kids were like me, smashing up toys and things like that in Pontypool shop, and I also called her pulling out donations at the charity shop bins, making a mess, and doing it at the charity shop, and then accused us,
accused me and Sammy of thieving the donations, and obviously we're not, we've got authorised pick-ups from charity shops, you know that, so they put it out the front for us, we pick it up, usually app us for as they're closing, or 4 o'clock we nip in,
have a look what they're selling in their shop, ask them if they've had a nice day, you know, very often the cash for closed bins and other charities will say, oh, just had a complaint, I'm stuck, whatever, there's about 10 bags outside a bin, do you want to go and pick them up before they get pulled everywhere?
And we'll go and pick them up.
So then she then accused us of stealing, so we then said, that is it, enough is enough.
You're the ones that's making the mess, by the bins, okay?
You're the one that's damaging all these donations, because they're getting pulled out and trampled on and everything else, and I can see you coming up on my live, the ones I've just checked out as well, so it'll all be recorded, so they'll be on there,
okay?
You said you didn't want to come in our shops ever again after the way you were spoken to, yeah?
So, by Chloe, Chloe never spoke to you like that, because I reviewed the CCTV, like I said, we've got CCTV and audio in our shops, okay?
So, don't come in our shops kicking off, because you were the ones that decided you didn't want to come in our shops anymore, okay?
So we're happy to uphold that, so don't come in here again, simple as any of our shops.
So, anyway, this lady then came in when Daniel was there, I don't know why they think Dan's a pushover, she came in with the kids, the kids came in, broke a load of cups, so Dan charged her, he said, no, you're not allowed in yet, and you just, you know,
you know why the children are not allowed in the shop, because they break stuff and you don't monitor them, and these kids are like 9 and 10, they're not little, they're not little kids, right?
And this is over at Pontypool shop, and he made her pay the £10, so good on Dan, I reckon, good on Dan for charging her the £10.
But I've just had another bunch in here kicking off, one of them calling me a pedo, because I'm sat here saying they can't come in our shop, which you can't just go around accusing people of that if they're not, by the way, so be careful, because you are on CCTV,
with audio, that's why we make sure we have good CCTV.
Video in the shop outside, we're the registered CIC guys, we're monitored, yeah?
CICs are monitored, so don't make out that we're stealing money and all the rest of it, because that's what they said, oh, she's stealing the money, we're the registered CIC guys, you can't steal money if you're the registered CIC without going to prison,
yeah?
Do I look like I'm going my way to prison?
You made the decision, you didn't want to come into our shops anymore, you said you weren't going to be spoken to like that anymore, okay?
I reviewed the CCTV, and the member of staff didn't speak to you like a piece of dirt, they advised you where to go to use the toilet, because our toilet was out of order at the time, which I still have the CCTV about.
Don't come in our shops again and fed up of your attitude.
And you can post me and tag me as much as you like all over Facebook, because guess what?
Facebook pay me.
So every time you tag me, every time you hashtag me, every time you say something good or bad about me, I get paid.
You don't, I do.
But it makes me laugh that now we're coming up to Christmas and people are looking for stuff and they're looking for bargains and nice Christmas presents and good stuff, you know, they want to come back to our shops.
Well guess what guys, we don't need you.
We don't need you as customers.
It's as simple as that.
And like I said, I can't believe that that woman that we caught pulling out the bins and I've got her on video and I reported her to the police in the end, pulling out all of this stuff from the charity shop bins in Pontypool and making the mess, because there hasn't been a mess there because she's been reported to the police.
And while the police couldn't do anything because they couldn't catch her pulling it out, she can't frequent there so much, can she?
So there hasn't been a mess in Pontypool.
There was a mess the other day with the charity shop there, and that was probably her as well.
But there hasn't been one up with the bins.
Have you noticed?
Because A, either we pick it up or B, the police have gone to see her and said, are you pulling the stuff out the charity shop bins, the charity bins, by Tesco's?
And she's gone, no, no, no, it wasn't me, it wasn't me, it wasn't me.
It was her because we got her on video.
Yeah, but they've got to catch her doing it, you see, haven't they?
So yeah, yeah, so if you've noticed, there hasn't been so much of a mess up there, which is good.
Which is good, you know, because we don't want it all pulled out because, you know, they haven't even got the decency to take the bag and then bring back what they don't want, do they?
They pull it all out, chuck it all over the mud, and it gets ruined and destroyed and goes to landfill.
And that's the problem about it, isn't it?
But with the other ones, it's all about attitude.
If you're going to come in and you're going to kick off and be a nuisance, especially to the staff and myself, it's not acceptable, guys, and we won't have you in here.
At the end of the day, we've got babies and children in here, and you've just come in and you've just behaved like that.
And I've had two children up by here with their mother looking at toys, and you've just behaved like that in the shop, screaming and shouting and f-ing and blinding because we've told you not to come in the shop because you refused to shop with us anymore.
Previously, after what happened to you in Blackwood Shop.
And you've just kicked off in front of two kids that are under five.
Should be ashamed of yourselves, really, you should know.
If somebody tells you to leave their premises, then you need to leave their premises, not act like spoilt brats and throw your toys out of the pram.
But I just wanted to remind people, if we've told you not to come into the shops, don't come into any of our shops.
If I open a shop tomorrow in Newport, doesn't mean you can go there.
Okay, if we say we don't want you as customers, then don't come into the shops because we don't want you here.
We don't need you custom and we don't want you here.
So don't come into the shops.
And anybody that was with this little group that were kicking off out the front saying we're stealing the money.
If we were stealing the money, do you think we'd be able to fund all these shops?
Ask yourself why other charities have only got one shop or haven't got any shops.
Where's all their money?
You know, accusing me of other stuff.
Fine.
That's not a problem.
But I can have you for malicious communication with our mind because everything you just said was a lie.
And malicious.
And you've just said that on video.
And if you post that on social media, that's classed as a breach of the Malicious Communications Act.
Everything I'm saying is true because you said you didn't want to come in our shops anymore.
You just kicked off in front of two children that were up by you at the top end looking at the toys.
Because, as you know, in Covini, the toys are in the little changing room area that we've got because we utilised that.
You didn't see them because you only come in by the door and that's how you behaved in front of children.
Probably that's why you don't have custody of all your children.
But I just take this opportunity now, guys, to remind you if we've stopped you from coming into the shops, you can't go into any shops or any of our fundraisers.
Because we've banned you.
And your behaviour goes before you, doesn't it?
