Morning guys, I've been here a while but we've had a few things go on this morning.
We've got two people parked on the lane that don't speak any English.
So I've had to go and try and explain to them and the traffic warden have told them they need to move their cars.
They're blocking two fire doors and they're on residence only or they will be clamped and towed.
So you're looking at about £170 just to clamp and tow it and then, you know.
So anyway, he's ran back off to his shop up in the high street.
Some sort of delivery driver for a shop on the high street.
So you need to move the cars, two red cars, because they're going to get clamped.
We're not clamping them.
The actual traffic warden is going to do it.
So there we are.
So I came in this morning.
Lovely, sunny day.
Brilliant.
Ready to rock and roll and crack on.
And community police officer turned up with updates for us.
Now I'm very pleased with this because it looks like that Caerphilly Police are not going to put up with any shit.
Right?
So that's brilliant.
Thank you very much for them.
They'll be having a tin of biscuits like Pontypool.
They won't put up with no shit either.
Blackwood, you've got no chance of having a tin of biscuits.
So they came in and the update is that the ones that threw the fly-tipping through our gate have had a community resolution order.
They've had to sign that and they've got to go on a course for their behaviour.
And then if there's any more behaviour after that they can charge them straight away.
There's no messing around.
The police just come out and charge them.
The ones that parked on the lane and were going to get told and blocked everybody in and we said move your car and then they came here and kicked off and the guy was kicking off.
I'm going to do this too that year.
I'm like, well done, you're on CCTV.
Thank you for that information.
And then the girl was, oh, well I'm under the impression you sell out to date baby milk.
I was like, really?
Got anything else you could throw at me today?
Because like, you know, that ain't going to stick.
Right?
Because number one, we don't sell baby milk and number two, we don't give out to date baby milk.
If it's coming up to the date, we give it out free of charge.
Otherwise it sits on the shelf until somebody needs it.
That's the way it goes.
For free.
Why would I want to give out to date baby milk to a child that could make a mil?
Anyway, they've had a community resolution order because they were on CCTV and we passed the CCTV over to the police.
So then Daniel had another fella that turned up.
I don't believe this one has had a community resolution order.
He was in his 50s, 60s, kicking off, kicked off in the shop, got him on CCTV, kicked off by the door.
Daniel went out the front, got him on CCTV out the front.
Videoed, took pictures of the registered CIC signing, complained about it, went off down the road, complained.
Daniel rang me, came back, apologised to Daniel because he was told on the phone by whoever he rang on the phone, police, community police officer, operator on the line, whoever it was, told him to come and apologise because he was in the wrong.
But he did come and apologise and, you know, fair enough, that's fine.
There is a false narrative out there being thrown about about us.
We know that.
But it's not true, right, because we wouldn't be here.
We wouldn't be here five years down the line in this economic crisis, right, with the council and the police and fire brigade and everybody else with the ability to shut us down and stop us from trading, okay, if we were doing something wrong, okay.
Prior to even having our number and now we've got our number, okay.
Um...
