Right, morning guys - 7 Dec 2025 - (666 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
Right, morning guys.
I just thought I'd read my notes to you from... we had a meeting with the Director of the Complaints for the CIC Commission, I think it's called.
Is it a commission?
I don't know.
Anyway, we knew they'd report us straight away.
We knew they would.
This is why we never bother getting a number.
Now, if this was the Charity Commission, there would be a big hoo-ha and we could be put on suspension of doing any charitable fundraising activities, etc.
Now, the CIC is a little bit more sensible when it comes to investigations and now you carry on with what you're doing.
That's why we chose CIC and not charity at the moment.
We can always relinquish CIC and register as a charity later on.
But as you know, we have several haters that we need to finish before we crack on because you were fully aware of them reporting us to the Welsh Assembly sanitary pad and tampon fraud squad last week.
So this was the week before.
This is where now their behaviour goes before them and it's protected us.
So these are some of my notes that I took into the meeting.
The CIC Commission are not doing anything about it.
So they complained about us saying that we're a fake charity, we're money laundering, we're doing all of this.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Like they always do.
Okay, stealing pads off the National Assembly, all the rest of it like they normally do.
Right.
Absolute nonsense.
So one of the paragraphs that I brought up with them was that the CIC organisation has experienced this group before, HCT.
And while they can't discuss the files with me, they will have on record that HCT targeted Hope Bus CIC, which belonged to the PDO.
And many of the complaints that they've made about us, they would have made exactly the same complaints about Hope Bus CIC.
Which I have passed on to the Charity Commission and they are happy, the CIC regulatory body are happy to involve in a conversation with the Charity Commission.
I said, if you go back on your record, you will see that there is a group of individuals that work with HCT that from the Blackwood area, because on the letter they put Pontypool, right?
But from the Blackwood area, you will see the correlation between these pair.
And that they have got previous for making these same complaints and it is malicious and it is being investigated by the police.
And we've also got, I also took the subject access when being showed them some of the complaints they'd made to the council and various other people and whatnot.
And the CIC organisation are happy to close the case because they can see that there is a problem there with these particular individuals.
But as I said when we started this five years ago, this stops with us.
We are putting ourselves on the firing line because of this little group of people that do this to everybody who starts up in Blackwood.
So you might be sat in Cardiff or Edinburgh or Ireland or down the road and thinking, why is this going on all the time in Blackwood?
Because this is where this group is based.
So anybody who starts up in this area gets this abuse off them if they don't work with them.
But they need to look the best all the time.
So you can't just work with them.
You need to look secondary to them every single time.
So obviously there were other little organisations as well that were having spats for these ones.
Well, we've shut them down.
Those two have been shut down.
Okay.
And this one, the trustee and the founders had to step down because of their own behaviour and because she's got a criminal record.
