So evening, guys - 28 Nov 2025 - (2,191 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

So evening, guys.
I just thought I'd go through some of the stuff we've got for sale.
I'm clearing out my walk-in wardrobe.
I've lost a lot of weight and I'm not gonna be putting it back on.
I'm gonna make sure of that because I've been quite ill this year.
And so I want some stuff gone.
I've still got a lot of my old clothes so I'm lucky really.
I'm putting out old clothes from the wardrobe I've had for years.
So I'm having a good clear out.
So I've got some of these things that I found in the house.
I think I bought these.
Something to do with our Christmas thing that we were going to do and we're not doing it this year now because I'm being very well.
So these are £3.50 each.
They are brand new.
I think they were bought for our Christmas thing.
So they'll all be £3.50.
That's like a mermaid's tail blanket.
Brand new.
All little bits for little girls.
I think I've got that the owl didn't seem to have any markers with it when I pulled it down.
So I don't know where they've gone.
They were probably in it but they're not now.
So it's a washable owl.
So that'll be a pound.
Snapwatch is £3.50.
The World of Warcraft is £4 and I've got two items there.
It's like a 3D thing and a blow-up dinosaur.
He's cool.
£3.50.
£4 on the World of Warcraft and then that's like a car mat I think.
£3.50 on £4 on that.
I'm just going through what we've got.
It's all fundraising.
So these are some of the clothes.
Some I've worn and some I haven't worn.
So these are £3 each.
So that's an 18, 16.
That you can see has got a bit of a mark on it.
A little bit damaged.
You put your shoes in it or arm bags or something.
It's a bit flimsy for me.
That's a Burton's XL Cardi.
That's a festival jacket I had.
Pretty little thing.
That's £5.
That's like a full-length cardigan.
I think it's a medium.
Let me write medium on there now before I forget.
I hate doing the clothes.
Past clothes.
So I just do it bit by bit.
Now they're like a Christmas green colour.
They're not that colour at all.
They look really black on there and they're not.
They're like a Christmas tree green.
Really dark.
They're nice.
This is nice.
I know I have to keep it and try it.
I think that was a 16.
Yeah, I think that was a 16.
Let me put that there.
I think that was a large.
I can post for postage or we can run it through the Vinted.
Then I've got this.
Evans is 22, size 22, £10 please.
Sammy's going to be helping mothers struggling with the £20 vouchers.
Sorry guys, we're on a bus trip.
Parking like a twat is gonna put these people on because they're blocking fire exits and stuff for a school.
Not just us, but for a school.
And like Fresh and Fetch got stuck in the back there today now with them.
Same people, bloody time.
Oh no, that's my video from earlier.
So I'm just wondering, have we got anything else that I've done?
Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't.
The National Food Bank number.
They must be on part-time hours there.
Sorry, so what have we got here?
Size 24, we have a tag £3.
That's the back of that outfit.
I've just been sticking them up, I haven't really been straightening them out guys.
So the front of it, it hasn't got this slit in it.
I don't think that's on there probably.
They got like little metal bead things on that one.
It's lovely.
That's some old woman's top that I've acquired.
Oh I was guessing with that, that's size 20 because it's like a seersucker sort of cheesecloth material and it's really lemon, it's nice.
And just a couple of tops there.
And then I've got some items there, scarves I can do for £2 if you want.
Luggage tag 50p.
Those shoes have been worn I think and they're both size fours, bags £3.
I've got a Paul's boutique there, vintage.
I've got them up for £20 but I haven't checked online.
Then we've got some sliders with like butterflies on, brand new, or that I was thinking when I picked that up from a charity shop or whatever.
I don't know because why would I need a knitted bike seat cover?
When am I ever going to get on a bike safely?
When am I ever going to ride one?
I was like what?
I've got some other bags there and some tie bits.
I think those brown shoes are River Island at the back.
They're those little ones there.
I don't know why.
They're bits that have fallen out to expect from when we've had them.
Of course we used to run it from the house so a lot of donation bags.
I still find them in donation bags now everywhere.
I'm like what the hell is this?
I've got a River Island bag there.
I've got it for £10 but the rest is like £2, £3.
Those bags there are brand new £10.
Oh some are sold actually.
The brown saddle bag sold.
That's gone.
And there's a round one gone.
Round cushion bag sold.
That one's gone.
Oh I wore that today so I bought a bag of myself.
Scarf £2.
That is brand new.
I think it's got the plastic in it and it's like shorts.
It's not shorts.
It's a dress over a swimsuit which is like all in one.
I don't think it's every morn.
£3.
That's a dark brown.
That might be nice for holidays.
I don't know.
There's some nice stuff there but I mean I'm not going to go up above an £18 ever again so that's nice that coat.
So some of it's going.
And there's only so much my mother can take in.
She's pretty good like but she can take some stuff in.
Two tins of baby milk and I think they're a baby bag.
Let them crack on in there.
Let them crack on.
Don't forget we've got tons of this.
Tons of these trolleys.
I'll fill a bag for a pound.
We've got so much at the moment honestly.
I got the light.
He's done that.
Oh that's poppy duck.
They're coming together stuff.
They're winning.
Winning's right.
We've got some more you now.
A lot of them.
We've got tags on that.
That was quite nice actually that pink thing over there.
Quite fancy that.
I don't know.
Yeah so can you host any of these boxes for us guys?
Because we've got ink cartridge boxes.
Collect your bras up at work.
You know if you're working an office block or something.
You know or you're working like a supermarket test.
Because can you have it in the staff room for the staff to collect flowers.
Yeah we've still got these available.
A lot of things available.
All these pictures.
Could do with some chairs going.
Christmas is always a good time to sell chairs.
Because people tend to buy them.
That's baby change.
We're going to need a couple of days notice to get it out okay.
Because it's downstairs.
P2.
The pink pram's gone and it was clean before it went.
That's an old picture.
Still got that chair.
Have I still got the telly?
I've got somebody interested in it.
Still got these chairs.
But they're over the donation centre.
They're quite good for the staff.
That's probably where we kept them.
Oh yeah the patio doors.
Because we're going to put that on Risca remember.
One big Risca.
They were painted for fundraising.
Bits and bobs.
A lot of the Christmas flying out.
I've got people coming in asking for it now.
But it's gone.
There's only dribs and drabs in Caerphilly now.
A lot of the dolls and the teddies are gone.
Oh yeah that's lovely.
It's very heavy that is.
It's a tree stand.
It's lovely.
I know the poop went.
Because I know Tabby you bought the poop didn't you?
I don't know if that's gone yet.
That next to me.
But we want them gone.
Because the trouble is we keep chucking stuff in there.
And then it's full of stuff.
Lots of suitcases.
Oh my gosh what are you guys.
I've got stuff to do.
I'm not tired tired.
Lack of oxygenated blood now I think.
So yeah I've got to have the font.
Is the font gone yet?
The baptismal font.
I've got to have a bone marrow.
What are they called?
Transfusion replacement I don't know.
They'll try with the blood transfusions first.
And the iron infusions first.
And see if it picks up.
If not I might need to have bone marrow transplant.
So here we are.
Because I think on the website they're telling people I've got bone marrow cancer.
Well I haven't got that.
I've got aplastic anemia.
But aplastic anemia can turn into leukemia.
If it's not managed.
Of course back in well pre 2020 I wasn't being managed because I was told there was nothing wrong with me.
It was all women's problems.
And then there was an incident where I requested my medical records to go through.
I found the tumour myself on a missing MRI scan that wasn't in with the medical records.
I had to request that.
And then went to them and said right there's nothing wrong with me.
What the hell is that?
And then they started treating me 2019 to 2020.
Started with tumour suppressors.
And then of course pandemic hit and they didn't want to know.
Because they were like oh no you're gonna die.
You're gonna die.
You're gonna die.
You know you're at risk.
You're gonna die.
And then I went back down ill again.
And then I demanded that they did something.
And then they ended up having to rush me in and give me a triple blood transfusion emergency.
And obviously that's when they identified I was trouble.
But because they prolonged the assistance.
You know and the help and the treatment.
That's what exasperated the aplastic anemia.
Which means you don't make red blood cells anymore.
Or you have an impaired making of these blood cells.
You know a bit like sickle cell anemia.
They won't be the right shape and they won't work effectively etc.
But it's a bit like that.
But I haven't got sickle cell anemia.
But I've got aplastic anemia.
And obviously because it affects your lymphocytes and things like that.
Then you know your lymph nodes you see they're a bit like passport control for your blood.
So they like stand there and they you know they look at you like you wouldn't any important thing.
Right you look dodgy.
Get over here.
Let's check what you're carrying.
Sort of thing.
But of course mine don't function as well.
And if they are functioning then they're in overdrive.
So if I got an infection I'd be knocked sideways by it.
So I'm like knocked sideways.
Um but oh the fatigue.
Like I think god if I wasn't so ill imagine what I could get done in a day if I wasn't so ill.
You can see how much I do anyway.
But it's just absolute like I'm too busy to be ill.
I don't got time to be ill guys.
I really haven't.
So I go I would never set a blood test.
And then they'll decide from those blood tests am I going over for transfusion and iron infusion.
And then obviously after the blood transfusion the iron infusion they'll see how I progress.
And then if I don't then we'll be looking at in the new year looking for a donor for a bone marrow transplant.
So but my my father had a lot of problems with his blood C hematology when I was younger.
And I don't really know.
I remember him being ill and remembering having to go.
I can't remember where we went but he had some sort of treatment on hematology.
He sat in a chair with other patients.
So there was some sort of treatment going on on hematology.
But I was young but I went with him because he had problems mobility problems.
So I had to help him carry stuff and what have you.
And I was only young.
But my father been ill for a very long time and he's he's had um he's had parts of his kidney removed and things like that.
Kidneys both of them.
Been ill himself.
So you know maybe it's hereditary.
I don't think he's going to be a good donor by the sound of it for me anyway.
He's a bit too knackered himself to be a bone marrow donor for me.
So we'll have to see.
Have to see.
See what happens you know.
There we are.
Onwards and upwards guys.
And they will keep going.
Keep me busy.
Keeps me out of trouble doesn't it guys.
