Right, so I'm in the middle of sorting out donations now.
I've just had a lovely jigsaw and I've opened it up and I've had to get every single piece out to count, but also to get all the hair off it.
So can we ask that you sort your donations out before they come in please?
Now this bag has come in a while back and I'm just working it now.
But look at the state of the bag.
Now there's still good stuff in there, don't get me wrong.
There's, look, we can salvage lots of stuff in here, right?
Kids always come in and they always want these little bits and bobs, but look at the rubbish that's in the bag as well.
Somebody's just gone into a bedroom, right?
And they've just gone... in the bag like that and then dumped it off at us to sort out.
So when the volunteers get the bags in, I mean we're not taking anything at the moment because obviously we're waiting until after Christmas, there's still good stuff in here, right?
That can be recycled, but you need to sort it out now before you bring it in, okay?
Because it's not fair and it's so time consuming on the staff having to sort out what is rubbish and what isn't.
I would say, right, I'd put these out for the birds, but what you don't see on this street is any birds.
And I think that's the asbestos off the roof of the market.
I think it's the asbestos.
I have never seen a bird on this street, ever.
But this bag is an absolute shamble.
So if something like this comes into the shop, I want the volunteers to refuse it.
Look, that's stinking.
It's only been mushed.
Otherwise, look, that's broke.
It's no good if it's broke.
We don't want it, yeah?
Now, we understand we can't, but look at the state of some of it.
And look at the hair and stuff.
We've just been swept up off the floor this hour, right?
Now, we haven't got the time to keep doing this, guys, and keep going through your donations that come in like this.
So the volunteers, to open the bags, they're supposed to do it anyway, open up every single bag in front of you, look, and check it.
If it's like this, you take it back with you, okay?
