Morning, guys - 15 Nov 2025 - (1,332 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
Morning, guys.
I'm on my way into Caerphilly, running a bit late as usual, but I will be there by about half past just after, I expect.
Pontypool is open.
Next week we're going to be short staffed, so we could do with quite a few volunteers in, or if we've got a regular that wants to open up Risca for us, we might appreciate that, because we're going to have to shut down one of them next week, because we're in short staff,
somebody's moving.
So, yesterday that fella and that girl kicked off because we outed them on Facebook.
I think you can see by their reactions that they clearly were not in the shop to just come shopping.
I mean, why would you buy something and pay double the price for it on Vinted, you know, after you've just been disgruntled by us, because we've refused to allow you in the shop and outed you on Facebook because you came in with an attitude.
They came in to create a problem.
That's why we didn't let them in any further.
We refused to let them pass and said, come on over, don't come to our shops if you don't like our shops.
It's as simple as that.
We don't need you.
I'd rather have less customers than have a pile of dickheads in there.
So, you know, what was the whole plan with the Vinted?
I just... was he going to ask for the item, get the item for free, by then saying it was no good or something, you know, so that he would have made a shirt out of us that was only worth a fiver, if that.
What was the... that just shows the mentality, doesn't it, of these people, you know.
Doesn't it show... I mean, you can see that by one of their other reviews.
I mean, I've left bad reviews, don't get me wrong, I've gone to places where I haven't been happy with stuff and I've left bad reviews.
But you can see that these individuals are not happy in their lives.
You can see that they go out of their way to create a problem, can't you, and then to go on about the windows being smashed.
And we're like, we haven't any windows smashed.
Just reiterate again, the windows on the vans being smashed was Ian Smith's vans, okay, and his friends, and the UPVC units that have been shot through with an air rifle, and the damage to the pink vans is HCT.
We haven't had any windows put through.
He turned up outside our house saying that there was a window put through, but there was no window put through.
So, you know, I find that quite sus.
This individual, we just thought was a dickhead, right, and chucked out, is now connecting himself to all of those events that went on that week where all these windows were getting damaged and people were getting beaten up on the street and all the rest of it.
Which was nothing to do with us.
That's bizarre.
I mean, it's all bizarre, but it's going to be bizarre because they're all connected, and they keep saying this, don't they?
Everybody is connected.
And like I said, I've said it a hundred times before, and I'm going to say it again, they don't want us to succeed.
They 100% do not want us to get any of the food collections because that is their cash count.
That is what brings them in the money.
That's what they get donations for.
Okay?
That is what they get it for.
We give the food out for free.
We had people offering us money for pumpkins and I was like, nope, I don't want your money.
Take the pumpkins.
Take one for your friend.
So, I will say it again, when we start bringing in the food, and they know that we can bring this food, right?
And the supermarkets know that we, logistically, we can move tonnage of this food.
Look at the tons of donations we work with.
Look at the tons of food that we've dealt with before and we didn't even have premises.
We can shift some serious shit.
Right?
We can shift some serious shit and we give it to people in need.
We don't just give it to our friends.
We don't just give it to people who make donations.
We don't just, we help as many people as we can.
But brace yourself because as soon as we start getting these food donations, and I've also got, I've had some information forward, that not only has Hayley Thomas tried to block Ian Smith from picking up food collections by contacting managers and shop managers and community champions and other things.
But we know she's done that because she's done it very openly that she's blocked him.
She's also now tried to do it to us.
To say to the retailers, don't give her anything, don't give her anything.
So we're going to be challenging that now because she has obviously said this to them verbally and a lot of the supermarkets have come back to us and confirmed that she's said this.
Okay?
Because now we're five years down the line.
And now they can't refuse us because we've got her number.
So once we pass the initial checks and we're on board with the agencies, they can't refuse us.
Okay?
So we know now that she has been trying to block us from picking up food collections and so has Nicola Williams.
Okay?
Because Nicola Williams have admitted it.
Openly on Sherlock's website.
But again, if you'd have said to me, do you think that those two customers that came in are connected with any of this other stuff?
I'd have said no.
I'd have said no, they've just appeared dickheads.
They clearly weren't.
They're connected to it all.
You know, again.
So can I just reiterate again that if you are a dickhead, don't come in our shop because we have CCTV, lots of angles, lots of angles.
We have audio.
It is recorded outside and inside the shops.
And we will put it online if you deliberately come to our shops to be a nuisance.
Like I said, I don't need customers.
Okay?
It helps.
It does help.
Right?
Worst case scenario, if I don't get any customers, we give a load of it away for free.
Because we're not in it for the money.
That's why these other groups can't understand us because we're not in it for the money.
We're in it for the junk.
We're in it for the recycling.
We're in it to help people.
If we can help people with all of this stuff, we will.
But let me just remind you now.
If you are an idiot, if you're there to create a problem, we will out you on social media and it will end up making you love twice as bad.
Because we are telling the truth.
We tell the truth about what goes on.
And I hadn't even seen these people.
Okay?
Because I was sat at the desk and had a pile of donations with me.
It was the mother, the young mother, who had a baby and came in to help me.
To have a break and come in and help me.
She clocked them and she said no.
And I said right, I'm backing you up on it then.
I hadn't even seen them.
I saw them on the CCTV.
I didn't even know who they were.
I sheared them.
But I took it on her say so.
So there was two of them.
And we made that decision that they weren't coming in because of their behaviour.
So like I said, if you turn up and you are a nuisance, we will out you for it.
And look how ridiculous they appear now.
I'm on my way into Caerphilly, running a bit late as usual, but I will be there by about half past just after, I expect.
