Right, so morning guys - 25 Oct 2025 - (606 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
Right, so morning guys.
Pontypool's Spooktacular Food Festival is on today.
I can't wait to try every bit of food.
Right, so I noticed that Alan from Ragamuffin said that there's a road closure.
So I'm winging this a bit.
Let's see if I can get down to the car park the alternative way.
Remember when we had a road closure before?
This road is quite bad by the way, isn't it?
It's not quite proper.
I've never noticed that before.
I'm going to try this way.
But it might be this way in the chat.
I don't know.
I'm going to try and wing it.
I usually go the other way because I like to see all the little shops and everything.
That's a lovely little area to drive through, isn't it?
Ooh, really good sign up there.
We can put a sign up there.
Do you want to put something else up there?
I'm going to be the first.
Right.
Nice and sunny today.
Good.
Good.
We've had a good couple of days on sales.
Don't forget Caerphilly's opening dance down there.
He's doing a bit of work.
So it might be that...
We've got to pull a few things out to start.
And if you need stuff, move from the door like the bike just say.
But he will...
It should sort of come together a bit because he's moving stuff around.
And I moved some stuff around yesterday.
So it should be a bit easier to get around.
We've got to get a few things in now because it's getting too wet.
We've even put bits of bogs in the front.
Here we go.
And if sales pick up and everything else picks up, the economy picks up, perhaps we'll buy another pull out from there.
Because it does bring people in.
So I'm hoping... hoping...
Hoping begins with a H, I don't know.
Hoping that I can get in this way.
But it looks a bit abandoned this road at the moment, doesn't it?
Awesome.
High in the sky, see the reflection there.
What's this for, you know?
Is it just pulled over or is it picking people up?
Why do there's cars coming the other way?
Oh, there seems to be a bit of traffic down there.
Or does this bus do it?
I don't think the bus does what it's doing.
Oh, there is a bus stop but he is hanging about so I don't know.
So there is something going on down here.
What is going on down here today with roadworks?
Alright, so we have roadworks.
Are we going to be able to get into the usual monkey store?
You can park in Tesco's for three hours.
Thank you Tesco's.
There is another monkey store but I don't know if you can pay for that.
But I'm pretty sure it's all free in it.
You have to turn up before you come to the St David.
You have to turn up that way like you're going to the police station and the council office.
There is another car park there.
I might have a secret car park up my sleeve if I can't get into this one.
If I can use that one today anyway.
Because it's easier if it's one less staff car, isn't it?
In the monkey store for family.
So I might use my secret car park.
So yeah, there is roadworks going on but we don't know what.
I think you can.
I think you can.
I've got to turn in.
You've just got to go slightly different.
So I think you can.
