Hey guys, I just remind you now I'm closing at - 22 Oct 2025 - (768 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

Hey guys, I just remind you now I'm closing at half past three today, alright.
So it'll be shut up by half past three.
Back open tomorrow and Riscas open.
I just don't want me to know that.
What's wrong with that?
Minding my own business?
Like I always do?
She's like...
You want to sort your baby clothes out?
So I was writing away my... I was like... What?
What?
What baby clothes?
So I thought, what's she on about?
I thought...
Dan's done these.
He did them.
Because I said to you, at the beginning of the week, I said, Dan's done these.
They look a lot better.
You know, because they do get disheveled quite a bit.
And he's done a good job, bearing in mind of the quantity that we've got in here.
And everything's going on in this shop.
So I said to her, they are sorted.
I said they're sorted into sized ages.
I said size cubed and colour coordinated.
She was like, oh, oh, oh, yes, yes, oh, yes, that's the note to three there.
Yes, that is the note to three there.
Let me tell you something, no, you wouldn't get them size cubed, sorted on colour coordinated, in any other shop.
In any other second hand shop, they'd be thrown in a bucket.
God, some people get on my bloody nerves.
Cheeky as hell, innit?
You want to sort your baby clothes out?
You want to sort your bloody spec savers out?
God, I don't know.
Right.
So yeah, I think I'll be off now.
I had another online order, so that's all packed up, ready to go.
I've had one or two smaller sales in today.
It's not bad out there today.
It's cold, but not bad.
Ornaments on there.
That's a nice pen.
Where's that one come from?
A nice pen.
So I've been just pricing up a few bits now.
Don't want to start anything too big now, because I'm going to have to pack away in a minute.
But I think I was here by about nine this morning.
It was good.
I popped over to ten of us on the ice street.
I lost the one on the ice street opposite me.
I can't remember.
I popped over there.
They didn't have any note look cards, but we could do with some note look cards.
Because they've gone really well.
I'm using postcards at the moment, because we had a big box over Pontypool.
And the little handwritten cards are working out well.
And then I had a street map.
I could do with one of them for Pontypool.
A street map came in in a book.
You know, one of the Caerphilly books.
I was like, oh, that's ideal, because I can figure out where I've been now.
Just in case.
If I can't do it because my knee's bad, I can say to Dad, I'm going to post last street by there.
You know, this one.
Or go and do Crescent Road or Mill Road, you know.
Little and often, isn't it?
But the little hand, you know, they don't sell very well, those stationary sets.
They don't really go anymore.
Or the little note look cards.
So if you've got any of those.
Or any packs of Christmas cards you don't want, because my mum will start stamping them now with a January extra discount, ready to start putting in people's bags sometime next month.
Oh, and Lily, you came in yesterday, new customer, bought earrings.
You forgot.
What else did you buy?
You bought earrings and something else?
I can't remember.
Three pairs.
Oh, you bought the mirror off the top.
That's right.
I owe you a raffle ticket.
I have written you down.
So I could do with a town map for Pontypool and one for Risca area if anybody's got one in one of their residents and books kicking around in a drawer somewhere.
Because that's ideal, that is, because I can visually see.
I'm pretty good with these areas anyway, because I did caring all around Risca and Caerphilly and Rhymney Way.
I went everywhere like, so, you know, trying out.
So I'm pretty good with the streets, but then if I was to know the street names, I probably wouldn't know the street names.
So, but I could say now to Dan, finish off Ludlow Street.
And then,
I've been caring all over here.
All over here.
I know, I know this area quite well.
Where are we all in?
Who have I got customers in?
