Morning, guys - 14 Oct 2025 - (325 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
Morning, guys.
I'm at Nettle Hall Hospital.
I did quite a bit of training here when I was a student.
It's a long old drive out here.
I did, I think I did a week here as well on maternity down by here.
Week on maternity and I've done a couple of stints on maternity in different places.
Everybody was lovely here before they had to move down to the Grange on the maternity when I had a... I think there was a couple of wards I was on here.
Anyway, I'm down here for my knee today.
Start the ball rolling on my knees.
I hope it's not just an appointment to go in and say, oh, yes, we're going to operate on your knee.
Because you could have told me that on the phone.
And that's primarily what's wrong with me, with the NHS.
It's prioritising the appointments.
Anyway, we'll get done with you guys.
We're a bit short staffed this week.
So Caerphilly is open today.
And as soon as I finish up here, we'll open up Pontycord.
I think I've got to go.
I think it's Day Clinic or wherever I've got to go.
I've got over here nice and early because of the traffic.
I might have a long turn.
I knew I would.
I always take the wrong turn and end up back on the motorway.
Anyway, let's get this done today.
Now I'm in my knee.
Get a time scale, chop it off.
Bad enough, have I?
I haven't been able to have my steroid injections because I need to see that they're worse before, you know, before I get the next sort of steroid injections.
Otherwise I'd be skipping in there.
So it's been getting me down a little bit.
But there we are.
Let's get this done and then we can see if I can have a steroid injection before they're going to do the op.
