As part of its restructuring and the 500 store closures, Morrisons is going to close 52 cafes, 35 meat counters, 35 fish counters, 13 florists, 4 pharmacies and all 18 market kitchens.

All part of the restructuring as Aldi takes over as the fourth largest supermarket.
They say they're going to redeploy as many people as they can, but that's a hell of a lot of people to redeploy.
And obviously some of the cost-saving comes in cutting staff.
They reported a loss of 919 million last year after a loss of the previous year of 1.3 billion.
They've reported a pre-tax profit of 2.1 billion for the year-end 27th of October 24, so it does look like their fortunes are on the way up.
Whether these further cuts, and therefore less sales, means that they will continue to make a profit remains to be seen.
