I think I've done too much this week now - 8 Oct 2025 - (617 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
I think I've done too much this week now.
I'm in trouble bending today.
I've also got a pressure sore on my foot.
I can't believe it last night because I thought I'm not walking too well.
Sometimes when I've done a bit too much, it will do affect my walking.
But I've actually got a pressure sore on the bottom of my foot.
It's just come up overnight.
It's quite big.
It's about this big.
I'm still covered in paint on me.
So the district nurse is going to pop out and see that.
So if you come out and you see the district nurse, don't worry, she's going to pop out and have a look at it, she said.
Because it's just sprung up overnight.
Right, so I'll try and go slowly now.
These are the nappies that I've got.
What are they in there?
They have a mixed bag, this one.
Five plus.
But I don't know if they're all five plus in there.
No, they're not.
That's a mixed one.
We'll have to go through it.
Lots of incontinence pads in, or any mums going in now to birth.
Let me know.
We've got one maternity pillow in.
We've got tons of naught to three clothes.
Not so much 18 to 24, but by then they're tumbling about and walking and what have you.
They get damaged, see.
So yeah, we're building up a nice set of clothes here.
Because we've got tons at the top.
They should all be shot, but they're under the racking.
So we've got three to four.
Two to three.
I've put the bibs in there, got labels on them.
I've priced up the primary dresses.
Now I'm doing this one for £150 and the other one for £200.
Which is a bargain, because some are like £500 plus.
Online.
I don't particularly want to paint those too.
So yeah, this is the bit I was supposed to sort out yesterday, but my back went numb.
I was like, oh god, I've done too much.
Right, so I've got some play food there.
I'm going to sort out now for one of our mums, as asked.
So I've priced up some of the toys last night.
So they're all ready to go now.
The VTech app and other stuff.
I've made sure they're all priced so it's a bit easier when you're walking around.
So we've got games in, obviously.
Now, some of my mother's that homeschool.
If you want to come down and I don't know, you can get like 10 items for free from this section.
You can.
Now, I'm not sure if you can get as much of the tax back as you used to get when you were homeschooling.
And you should have been entitled to tax back during the pandemic as well, mothers, for homeschooling then.
But one of my other mothers said, no, you don't hardly get anything now.
So I'm not sure how it works.
So if somebody can find a link and post it under this video, it might help out some of our other mothers.
But if any of my homeschooling parents want to come in and get 10 games, 10 puzzles, to help with the homeschooling, you're more than welcome to take them home.
And then you can always bring them back when you finish your own thing, can't you?
And swap them for another 10 rather than paying for them.
Because if you're not having any help anymore, to buy things like pens, pencils and stuff like that, then obviously that's going to impact financially.
But let me know guys, if you can find a link about what they're entitled to, post it underneath for me.
