Traffic's bad today, guys - 3 Oct 2025 - (587 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

Traffic's bad today, guys.
Going into Cuffillie.
I am here, look.
I am here.
That's sort of a garage, but there, look.
Blackwood Landlord is implemented in as well.
Now, the other people... the middle man has gone to jail, but for traffic in.
The Blackwood Landlord owns shops from Cuffillie, Ystrad, right the way down to Blackwood now, right?
And it's all the same type of shops, right?
I hear that they've been told they've got to...
they've got to put sink units in every shop, haven't they?
They've been told they're not eat calm, rent them as they are.
They have to have running water in every one.
So, you know, that's cost him now, haven't it?
I think they have one person in there, I'm not sure.
I got a funny feeling he's painted over the mural.
That won't do him any favors because the person who did the mural is quite well respected.
So that won't do him any favors if he's done that.
That's why we didn't paint over it, because somebody said to me, oh, you should have painted over that.
He said, no, I wouldn't do that because it's artwork, as far as I'm concerned.
That would have been a massive asset to anybody who'd been in there.
Oh, what's going on here?
It's time to talk a block again.
So anyway, I had a mother yesterday and I didn't get to finish the conversation with a mother, but she was on about volunteering and she said, oh, I can't because I'm on UC.
And then we didn't get to finish our conversation.
Yes, you can volunteer.
It doesn't matter if you're on PIP, UC or anything, right?
It doesn't matter.
And, okay, the job centers and UC and everybody else have agreed to write it in your records and your diaries that you can volunteer with us and name us for up to, I think it's three days, I think, you can volunteer.
And they're happy for you to do that, okay?
Because, obviously, the government want to get people back into work and they want people volunteering, you know, because it's good for your self-esteem.
It's good for your self-confidence.
It promotes a better environment if you're not sat in the house all day.
Yeah, if you're out and you're actually doing something, it's better for you and it's better for the environment and it's better for people.
In general, it's better for the government because it's getting you back into a workforce even though, you know, it's not paid employment.
Plus, you're doing training and things like that and it's keeping you in that loop, you know, of continuing to do things and not sat in the house or sat on an Xbox all day or sat in front of the telly all day, vegetating, you know.
It's good for... it's good for mental health and well-being, okay?
As you're out talking to people, it's good.
But they will write that.
So if you're afraid, right, if you're afraid and we don't need to put you on social media, we don't need to name you and put you on social media if you're a volunteer.
Some people do, you know, some people don't.
We don't need to either.
So you don't need to be caught up in stuff and you don't need to be front of house because we've got front of house people.
There are other areas in which you can volunteer in our baby bank.
