Because we know you pay more for the books but the money gets ring fenced for nappies.
Yeah, so there we are.
So somebody made a comment today about you get all the food and the nappies from the supermarkets.
No we don't.
We buy it out of our fundraising.
Okay, the people who get the food from the supermarkets are the pantry.
If they're a pantry they get it.
And that's what we're trying to stop.
Food banks should be getting the food.
Registered food banks that give it out for free.
Not the paid ones.
The ones where you've got to go in and pay.
So that's what we're trying to put a stop to.
Because it should be going to a food bank that helps people in need.
So someone made the comment saying you're getting all the food for free.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
No we're not.
We buy it.
And I've got the receipts.
And I often post stuff on there.
We do take donations.
If people bring in a bag of stuff they do donations.
But right now we don't even do around the street collections because my knees are bad.
And I haven't got the time.
And my volunteers haven't got the time either.
So just to clarify that.
We pay for the nappies.
We pay for the formula.
And we pay for the food that we give out.
We do have donations if they're walked in with customers through the stop.
