Right, so hiya guys - 1 Sep 2025 - (514 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank

Right, so hiya guys.
Obviously it's quiet today because it's Monday and the Caerphilly shop is pretty good.
You know, it can be tidied over and over again but it's pretty good.
It's only Pontypool shop that needs the volunteers in, really.
I don't need any new volunteers, I don't need any existing volunteers at Caerphilly and none at Risca.
Only new volunteers there that want to start please.
Because we need everybody to pull the efforts over Pontypool.
Right, so we're doing this offer now up until Christmas.
Choose five toys up to the value of five pound each for ten pound.
Now it doesn't, right, it's only for the mothers.
It's not for resellers so don't come in buying all the vintage toys because it says on there vintage toys excluded and the collectible toys.
Okay, so it wouldn't be things that's inside the glass cabinets.
Okay, but our baseline is about £3.50.
I did it for £5.
Because that's the price of a pack and that's how we do it.
So what you can do is come in and whatever we've got to the value of £5 each, so that would be £3.50.
That's a fiver.
So you add it up as we go along and then this one's £3.50.
And then what else have we got?
I mean some might be less than that.
I love him.
I love him.
And then what's on this one.
Oh that's a bit dearer that one.
I want another £3.50 or something.
Or a fiver.
What have we got?
Must have something here.
Here we are.
So instead of those adding up, so the minimum for that would have been £12.50 minimum.
Depending on what prices on each one.
Okay, but they might be dearer than that because you might have £5, £10, £15, £20, £25 worth.
But we're going to do it for a tenner to help the mothers out alright.
Because they could have been, that could have been £5, £10, £15, £20, £25.
That's what we would have got.
Yeah.
But obviously we'll do it all for a tenner for you.
But even in the half price sale that would have been £12.50.
So you're still saving money by buying five at a time.
And we'll run this up until Christmas.
And you can do it with the books as well.
Because the only books we've got are dearer books at the moment.
But the item can't exceed £5.
Okay, so you can't have like £10 and then the rest.
So you can't pick like a £10 item and the rest.
It's all got to be, they've all got to be £5 each.
Or less.
And they'll work it out.
They'll work out, whatever's cheapest, they'll work it out for you, okay.
But the maximum that would cost you would be £10.
All right, now ready for Christmas as we go in.
And then we'll see what we can do.
I haven't confirmed anything for Christmas yet.
Because I'm still waiting on all my test results back.
So I don't know what we're doing Christmas-wise.
For families and stuff yet.
Oh, I need to go through the slot next.
I suppose we will.
