So we've been doing this this afternoon now, - 22 Sep 2026 - TikTok @communityshopone - Jaynes Baby Bank
So we've been doing this this afternoon now, putting the doll's claws on hangers, ready for them to be hang on like the jewellery stands.
We can't do like little sets, look, and they lush.
So we've been, the last couple of days we've been catching up on jobs because we can't do nothing with Pontypool because we're waiting on the go-ahead to go in.
We've got time scales, but I need the landlords to agree when we can go in to remove stuff.
But we're still waiting to sign our other end, you know, the other end, and to coordinate everything.
We can't do nothing, so we've been sat around for a couple of days doing nothing.
So we've been catching up on some of the jobs, doing a bit of the craft sessions.
Dawn's done some more bookmarks.
You might think, oh, well, they're just boring bookmarks or whatever.
But people who've got poor dexterity or arthritis in their hands, little jobs like that, keep them going.
And then they're part of what we're doing as well.
I mean, look at that, that's beautiful.
Um, oh, and that one, I could have that one too.
That'd go cool with that scooting there.
Um, and that denim jacket, look at that front outfit.
Um, so yeah, we've been catching up on jobs, I guess, really.
And like I said, those little jobs with the, um, with the older people have done, uh, the bookmarks.
And a couple of lead ones, so we could put the few things in a bit quick.
So we shove the few leaves in just to...
But the way they're doing, like, little jobs like that, it might not seem a lot.
You might think, well, that's not very artistic or whatever.
But, perhaps that's all that individual can do with their arthritis in their hands, you know.
Perhaps that's all they can keep up with, sort of thing.
So, it just gets people moving, don't it?
And then when people buy books, they've got free bookmarks of the kids, can't they?
Got some nice Build-A-Bay stuff.
Cindy and then some other, some that's been knitted.
I got about five, about five to six bags to do we have.
Um, but we've been waiting for them to build up so we can do, like, one side of the jewellery stand or something.
Full of, um, uh, dolls' clothes and, and Build-A-Bay clothes.
Um, so yeah, that's what we've been doing, guys.
So, here's...
