Right, so I've gone through the bins today now.
I'm doing this video just to show you that, you know, how far we go above and beyond to try and salvage things.
So I told those them in the bin if they're too mouldy, but I didn't realize they were wooden.
So the jigsaw pieces are probably all right.
It's the cardboard.
So I'll see if we can salvage the jigsaw.
Right, because they're quite old-fackened ones.
The purse only needs to wipe over.
As far as I can see, I don't know if the zips broke.
This little thing only needs to wipe over.
I told Daniel to put this in the bin.
It was smashed, but actually when I went in there, I thought, oh, actually, can I take the mirror out to the bottom?
And we can salvage it.
Peen them out.
Now, how many other charity shops would have binned those?
Now, don't get me wrong, we've got rubbish.
We've got stuff we can't salvage.
But once we put it in the bin, we go back through it and say, well, that's salvageable.
The jigsaws might not be, we might not have the pieces.
I've still got a couple of boxes to go through, so I'll wait and see if we can get the pieces up.
And then we'll see if we can just add it on the side and just do it as we go along.
And if we've got it, we can just put it in a bag.
And then those items there, they'll be all right.
And it would probably get, I don't know, two, four, six pounds for them, roughly, seven, eight, if we can salvage them.
So that's still eight pounds, but that would have got it in landfill elsewhere.
I can 100% tell you that.
It would have.
But we, what I'm showing you is, we take the time and the effort, not just to sort the donations, but to rescue them.
Daniel's got a pile of stuff that he's going to rescue.
These are going to rescue, you know.
I've got electricals there that we're sorting and we're going to try and rescue them.
So rather than chucking them out, like some of the other charity shops do and the other groups, we're like, no, hang on.
Let's see what we can do in it, you know.
And it does get tiring when you're going through like 50 boxes and stuff.
You do get donations for fatigue.
And it is, it is like, it's like, oh.
But at least we've got this now where we can just shut the door and it will go.
And say, right, we'll come back tomorrow and restart.
I know.
