She forced her to have drink and substances.
And not only that, she would sit and encourage Brian David Mitchell as he carried out his assaults on Elizabeth.
This woman helped commit one of the most horrific crimes I've looked into and in doing so helped to steal another young woman's innocence.
And when she got out of prison in 2018, there was a fair bit of uproar because her original release date was not till 2024.
But she does get out and the terms in her parole are that she can't go near parks and near schools.
And when they try to find some family that will take Wanda Barzy in, they're disappointed because no one wants to know Wanda Barzy anymore.
Which means that the state have to house her.
And where do they put her?
They put her one street from a school.
And last year she was actually arrested for violating her parole because she entered a park.
Something that she's not allowed to do.
However, when she was arrested, she said that she was commanded by the Lord to go and feed the ducks.
Now, Elizabeth Smart herself has spoke out and expressed her worry at this situation.
Because that exact wording and using your faith as an excuse to be able to do things you shouldn't is exactly the sort of traits that Wanda Barzy showed when Elizabeth was held in captivity.
Meaning, Elizabeth probably doesn't think that this person has been rehabilitated.
