When will they realise that employing the most academic Midwives doesn't mean they have life skills, common sense, or bedside manner. You shouldn't be a nurse, doctor, midwife ect unless you have been a carer first - they need to learn to CARE for the patient first . Caring is a profession in its own right and it needs to be acknowledged as a profession.
