I think these events, these Christmas markets, craft markets , £8 crossisants with oreos stuck on top and £14 burgers are done tbh. Everyone I asked how the event was yesterday in Caerphilly replied: " expensive". I don't think they are bringing anymore people to the towns and it takes the custom from the other shops that have struggled all year. Bring back decent markets that's what customers need, that will improve town footfall. Drop rates for cafes and small businesses so they can drop their prices. Right now cafes and restaurants are empty. Drop the bus fares. Improve WiFi and reception in certain towns.
