We are not just a baby bank! We are THE BABY BANK to support. The baby bank is where the fundraising is used. Me and Dan don't take a wage we work 7 days a week for free. I am a single Mother who suffered from an ex partner and serve illness, and disability and was not helped. I had to struggle on my own for everything including using foodbanks. Now my son volunteers 60 hours plus a week to help Mothers in need because he saw me go through this. Our volunteers are Mothers and Grandmothers and don't get paid a wage to work multiple hours for us and to help Mothers and benefit the local communities.
We use the funds to give out nappies, pull ups for mums struggling to finance toilet training, baby milk that is now £15-20 a tub, 5 item food top up shop for FREE - ALL THE OTHER CHARITIES AND CHURCHES CHARGE MOTHERS £5 -£12 FOR DONATED FOOD!! Food Bank referals, tea and coffee, pop and squash, food if mums are hungry, free books on motherhood, free clothes bundles, baby baths, moses baskets, playmats to encourage development, books to help children read and develop their imagination, free safe haven for Mothers to volunteer , breast feeding, change babies, have a wee while we mind the children, charge their phones, come and off load to volunteers who listen and don't judge, giving mum advice and support, and feel like part of team, free accredited training, spend money on themselves and children which won't break the bank (20p adult clothes, 3 for £1 children's clothes).
Don't believe everything you read on line, it was put there by narcissistic registeted charities that are jealous. Some are also people who attacked and bullied me as a single Mother who struggled which I have proof of (which I havn't put in the public domain, yet).
Come and speak to our volunteers who are Mothers and grandmothers , come and speak to our customers and mothers who use our services every day. We are not just a baby bank, we are a support network for thousands of families. Sometimes we are their last hope of help.
Plus we sell some pretty neat stuff!!
