⚠️APPEAL ⚠️❄️🌬
We are going to face an enormous problem this year, and I know lots of other groups will be doing the same appeal as us for other groups of people but children and babies come first - we have all have a duty of care to protect children under 18. That's why we are starting our appeal now.
Babies, Children and families are not going to be able to afford to put the heating on this year. Many families may make the mistake of buying wood and using combustible fuel indoors with out proper ventilation which is lethal. We are asking, appealing and begging for anything to keep families warm and feed them this year so that they do not resort to unsafe practices. Please can you donate to families so we can make up bundles for FREE and they can be collected from us.
Jumpers/coats/cardigans/blankets/sleeping bags/foil blankets (these are amazing) /gloves/scarfs/wooley hats/ hand warmers/hot water bottles and covers/ warm bedding/ fluffy socks and fluffy boot slippers /fluffy PJs and nightwear/ vests/under shirts and leggings /long sleeved garments/snowsuits/sleepsuits/closed knitted blankets/ electric blankets/ thick curtains/any thing thermal. In all sizes children and family sizes - new or second hand/ hot drinks such as horlicks or hot chocolate/soups. We are looking for slow cookers and anything to cook food that is low energy and we will also be posting receipts links.
The need for food will also be greater now if you can spare ambient food. Jayne's Mother & Baby Bank, Food Bank & Charity Shop priority is to keep children warm and safe and fed so that parents don't resort to dangerous practices of heating and cooking and storing food. Please help us - help families across South East Wales.
