Guys I get alot of messages from mothers asking for help and food banks saying they are really embarrassed.
Don't be embarrassed. I needed 10 food banks to help my family while I was waiting on the tumor diagnosis. I was left in limbo. I was working two jobs and studying to be a nurse and then next thing I knew I'd collapsed on a ward on placement.
First time I had to ask for a food bank voucher, I had to phone citizens advice, attend an hour meeting in citizens advice to get a food bank voucher and then when I went to the food bank it was all doom and gloom atmosphere. I am very greatful for my food banks, and all that food would have gone to landfill.
That's when me and my son decided to change the doom and gloom experience. That's when we set up the baby bank and food bank out of the back of my car.
Never feel embarrassed to ask for help we are all Mothers helping Mothers ❤️♻️🍼🌎
