Guys have had a chat with Trading Standards and our house clearence lads and St David's foundation. The lads charge £80 up for clearence of shed size, St David's charge delivery per item
What has been suggested to is is we charge £25 a car load to collect and petrol costs. At the moment we are not delivering but it would be the same price as the St David's charge but they are per item. £25 goes into the Baby Bank fuel goes to the volunteer who collects for us. I will 100% honest with you - we are too busy to collect and deliver and it takes time away from us doing charitable processes. Due to rising costs on garage prices and fuel and insurance and business insurance we have to cover these charges unfortunately. Please don't message us and say ' pick up ASAP!' because you need to be booked in for collection or delivery.
We do have some followers that we have agreed Free or certain rates due to age/location/ disability and circumstances to collect from. Otherwise it will have to be a standard charge.
Drop off at the shops is 24 hour and CCBC have agreed that you can drop off at our house too to cut down on fuel emissions and the costs to families if nearer than the shops. We also have drop off points around South Wales.
