Myself and the other trustees had a chat and we decided that food banks are getting a lot of funding and support and we are now going to ringfence the fundraising from the precious and semi precious metals for the Baby Bank specifically for the purchase of nappies.

The Government has a massive system in place to help foodbanks due the amount of food going to landfill. Due to the cost of living crisis families who need nappies will struggle more than ever.

All gold, silver, brass, copper, lead, lead flashing and other metals will now be ringfenced for the purchase of nappies exclusively rather than given away. Any metals precious or semi metals or electical cable or cables from old appliances you have please drop into the locked bins in each shop please .

We will also keep a running total so that our followers can see just how we raise by recyling old metals each year. If you have bigger items to donate such as old cars give us plenty of notice please. We don't take fridges sorry or calor gas containers .
