JaynesBaby Bank thank you so much for the donations guys - we have spent the day working through them - you are all so generous. Look at all the clothes and shoes you are preventing going to landfill and helping out other families. The purpose of the shops is to help families who are above the poverty line but want to contribute to supporting our running costs and assisting to help families in the UK, Africa and the Ukraine. We designed the shops to be cheaper than charity shops and help us make a good hard earned revenue to support our charity journey so we don't have to rely on grants and hand outs ourself. They are run by mothers for mothers, run by families for families, run by people for people. We knew we would face jealously but the truth is we have always been a hard working family and havn't recieved one grant in the last two years. Me and my family do not take a wage, we do not claim petrol expenses, our amazing volunteers don't claim expenses and work way beyound 'business hours'. We are a strong group with a firm foundation supported by our followers.

Remember to let myself, my family and volunteers where you want your donations to go. Either write Help, Ukraine ( which we will pass to the free Ukraine shop in Newport as the lady that runs it will designate where best needed as she co ordinates the huge HGVs to ship to the Ukraine); Africa (car seats and spectacles automatically go to Africa but they take clothes, shoes and toys too), or you can let us know they are for the shops or for refuges across South East Wales . If anyone needs anything for a urgent one off appeal they will need to contact me directly, and I will need written consent going forward.
